early morning walk
its 8.27 am here in Norfolk

we’ve just been for our walk – its breezy, cool, lots of sun first thing but more cloud now. Sal had a treat this morning, I had just got a reluctant Tilda on the lead, when the hare she had been tracking showed itself – and off Sal went in hot pursuit. of course he’s too old and not the right sort of dog, but he is a really good sprinter … yowls of frustration from Tilda, bouncing about on the lead and standing on her hind legs .. yelps of frustration in the distance; Sal had not a chance!

poor tilda! she must have been really grumpy about that one. Emmett had a bit of a flighty morning on his walk – running off after dobermans and having a great run about with bertie the border terrier (they are very well matched and seem to really love each other). Now hes being a pain because he went through the bin and found an old packet of sugar with a bit of sugar in it – had to wash brown sugar out of his beard!
