I woke up in the middle of the night dreaming sweater designs. I think they might be quite good, but I have to do the actual work on them first – graphs and instructions and all that.

meanwhile here is my first attempt at a showstopper. I have to have at least one for the exhibition in Bath in February.

It’s as tall as will go in my kiln, and I’m trying to use the scratched chalk lines from the beach at West Runton. I also think I might try to use them on a knit.

then trying to make photos of texture, pattern and shape, I have reduced some to black and white.

texture or pattern – but I probably don’t have a good enough camera to make really stunning photos of this sort of subject.
