today I saw one of the owls again, swooping and hovering over the tall grass in the meadow. it was an extremely windy day, and the owl seemed to revel in the wildness, allowing the wind to sweep it up high as it hunted.

I got all fifty two pots packed into the car today, a pretty tight squeeze, for the trip to Bath tomorrow.

  1. Colours of the English countryside in Winter are not as washed out as I remember them to be. You seem to still have greens and yellows and reds.

    Here everything’s brown or greyish.

  2. Your owl friends are so lovely… I wished my digital camera worked well enough at night to share all those bunnies in my neighborhood. Everything else moves to fast for my fingers.

  3. The knobbly fig branches are very cool. That is a very nice picture of Tilda. Her face is absolutely beautiful. I love doggies. 🙂
