new collection

while it might seem that I am only concentrating on the pots, in the background there has been a quiet clicking of needles (only metaphorically) and the collection for next season is almost finished. today I took some photos; my usual model, Sid, who is not a model at all, was available and the weather was good. we borrowed the three neighbours’ gardens, and I am very pleased with the result. you can see the whole 25 images here http://www.soozwhippet.com/SS08/index.htm

particularly stunning in this

hard to choose which ones I like best. Sid has been the face of Jane Wheeler knits for about 5 years, and its fascinating to see her change and grow up. today we had a really good chat while running up and down the garden with different garments and trying to find the best places for pictures without repeating the same format.

as beautiful as always – some really good textures this season, as well as really delicious colours…i love that milkwood cashmere and of course the beautiful greys and amazon. I love your mina inspired leaves and the coloured boxes under them and that leaf sequin pattern is stunning. Sid looks great in them, as do your matta dresses….belissio!!! i wish i was going with you so i could try it all on and all that!
