Raw pots drying in the sun and here are some new pots I made, drying in the sun. I’m quite excited by these, I have an extra thing I do to them now, its called paddling – I made a paddle out of a plank, and I just whack them with it. it softens the shape a bit. the white spots are porcelain which with the right glaze will show up as a slightly different colour. Post navigation Lilies and SalJapanese gardens; fences 3 Comments oooo they look like fun – i like the stumpy little arms (sorry spouts) and the porcelain dots. Nice to see pics of them before all the other magic happens. Like the blog by the way – looks lovely xxxx Reply Gosh I really want to touch them. I would love to know what it the porcelain feels like next to the clay. Reply hmmm … that’s very interesting… I did it for the colour rather than the feel, but your comment has made me think!
