firing results I put up the pot photographs from Sunday’s firing here today – http://www.soozwhippet.com/pots4thsept2007/index.htm this is one of my favourites. I am starting to lean towards fewer complications, and I really like the bottle form. this is one that got the paddle treatment, you can see the marks around the bottom. the glazes overlap and make a wonderful cracked mud effect, which is why I call this particular combination “saltmarsh”. black mud, brown sand, cracked mud .. it reminds me of my favourite place to walk near here.
